Frank Wu, M.D.
Allergy & Immunology: Allergy
After completing his
specialty training at the National Jewish Hospital for Allergy and Clinical Immunology, University of Colorado in
Denver, Colorado, Dr. Wu settled in Indianapolis, Indiana, and has provided uninterrupted service to allergy
and asthma sufferers in central Indiana for the past 25 years. Earlier, Dr. Wu received his M.D. degree from the
College of Medicine, National Taiwan University. He then immigrated to the United States and received his
internship training at Cook County Hospital, Chicago, Illinois, and completed his residency at the University of
Chicago. Dr. Wu is a clinical assistant professor in Medicine and Pediatrics at the Indiana University Medical
School and is a teaching attending physician at St. Vincent Hospital. He is a former president of the Indiana
Allergy & Asthma Society and a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and the
American College of Asthma, Allergy & Immunology. He is a member of the American Medical Association,
Indiana State Medical Association and the Indianapolis Medical Association.
For many years Dr. Wu has been interested in outdoor pollen and molds that affect allergy sufferers in our
area. His clinic is a part of the nation-wide Aeroallergen Network which provides information to allergy
sufferers, through allergy telephone hotlines, newspapers, TV stations and national media.
Throughout the years, Dr. Wu has strived to provide his patients the best care possible. The motto of the
practice is "The secret of the care of the patients is in the caring of the patients.
